Cascade High School National Honor Society Faculty Council has reviewed 6/8 student applications into the National Honor Society. The NHS constitution provides eligibility for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Students with a 3.3-4.0 GPA, with the completion of 5 semesters for current Juniors and 3 semesters for current sophomores are invited to apply to the National Honor Society, Cascade Chapter. Students are evaluated by the four pillars of The National Honor Society: scholarship, leadership, service and character by the Faculty Council. Students prepare an application which includes: an essay, and current resume. Normally, this process occurs in the early spring. Due to Covid events have been and will continue to be handled with social distancing protocols and safety first. Normally, the Induction Ceremony for new candidates would be announced at this time. This information will be coming soon. The announcement of 2020-2021 new Inductees will be Saturday May 16th. The Induction Ceremony for new members will follow the guidelines from the CDH Department requirements. Because of the Covid 19 issues, this ceremony may be very different from traditional ceremonies
